How to do pedicure at home- step by step DIY tips Pedicure Routine

Today I am will share my pedicure routine with you guys that I personally do to have soft feet and beautiful healthy toe nails. It is very simple and effective routine for me It removes tan and dirt from my feet, keeps my skin soft and keeps my toe nails clean and healthy. Here are the steps:

Steps:
  1.  Remove the old nail polish using nail polish remover and cotton pad
  2.  Prepare foot soak- Take a tub and put warm water in it. Add shampoo about this amount. Then add Epsom salt in it (bath salt/sea salt). Then add one lemon. Also add some fresh rose petals to make the soak look pretty and spa like effect.
  3. Dip your feet in the foot soak for 15-20 mins and relax. This will help soften your dry skin on the underside of the feet and your dry cuticles. The lemon will help remove discoloration and yellowness of the toe nails. Salt is antiseptic and will kill the bacteria.
  4. Put some Foot Scrub on an old tooth brush and started bushing your toenails and feet with it. This will remove the dirt from the nails and cuticles and also rough, dry, and dead skin on my feet. Clean under your toenails as well. Be gentle while you do it.
  5. Scrub your heels, soles using a pumice stone or a foot file instead. This will remove the rough, dry, and dead skin. If you do not remove this from time to time, the skin will harden, causing cracks and infection. Be firm, yet gentle – you want to remove all the skin, but you don’t want to hurt yourself.
  6. Once this is done, pat dry your feet with a clean towel
  7. Use cuticle oil or cuticle cream on your cuticle to make them soft.
  8. Push back you cuticles with a cuticle pusher or orange wood stick. Never cut your cuticles. This removal of the cuticle helps your nail grow and promotes healthy nails. Make sure you are gentle.
  9. File your nails straight across in one direction. This will prevent the nails from splitting and breaking. If you clip your toenails then make sure you cut across straight. Don’t cut corners too deep, or you will end up with painful ingrown nails.
  10. Buff your nails on the surface and the free edges using a nail buffer to smooth out everything. Wipe your feet. Apply more oil and massage into your cuticles and toe nails. Apply moisturizer and massage your feet well.
  11. Your last step will be applying base coat to protect your natural toe nails before apply nail polish or doing nail art.

This is all I would do once a week.

Today I will show you guys how to cut your toenails properly and in correct way to avoid ingrown nails. We all cut our toe nails and most of us do it in a wrong way which is one of the many reasons to cause ingrown toenails, which in turn causes pains and serious problems. Remember there are multiple reasons for ingrown toe nails. I will only show you how to cut your toe nails properly. Tip # 1 Never cut your toenails too short Tip # 2 Always cut your toe nails straight across, keeping the corners right above the skin. The skin and the nail will hold each other apart and you won’t have ingrown nail. Tips # 3 Never file the sides of your toe nails. Gently file the sharp corners of your nails to avoid cuts on the skin (File only the tip of the sharp corner). Never file the sides. After filing all your toe nails then buff the free edges of your nails to smooth them out. I do not buff the surface of my nails. It makes them weak. I only buff the free edges.  When you are d...
